Dr. Gopal Chandra Pal

Research area: Vapor chamber Design for Electronics cooling

Gopal is a Postdoctoral researcher who earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar in 2025. His work focuses on droplet condensation on superhydrophobic surfaces and phase-change heat transfer for advanced cooling applications.

Dr. Rajalingam A

Research area: Electronic cooling, phase change heat transfer and multiphase flow.

Dr. Rajalingam A is a National Postdoctoral Fellow (ANRF) who completed his Ph.D. from IIITDM Kancheepuram in 2024. His research focuses on wickless vapor chambers and bubble transport in aqueous media for energy and heat transfer applications

MD Moitur Rahman

Research area: Flow boiling in microchannels

Moitur Rahman has completed his MTech from Jadavpur University and as a Prime Minister's Research Fellow(PMRF), he is currently studying flow boiling in parallel microchannel evaporators using IR cameras. He is specifically looking at the application of the same in spacecraft electronics cooling.

Viraj Dusane

Research area: Spray Cooling

Viraj has completed his M.Tech from NIT Surat. He is currently working on spray cooling using an IR camera. His research focuses on the thermal analysis of sprays for electronic cooling applications.

Shuchi Chaurasia

Research area: Modeling and simulation of multiphase fluid flows

Shuchi is a Joint Doctoral Ph.D. scholar at Indian Institute of Technology Madras and TU Darmstadt. She completed her M.Tech from National Institute of Technology Hamirpur in 2023. Her research focuses on developing advanced computational solvers for multiphase flows using OpenFOAM.

Midhun Abraham

Research area: Vapor chambers

Midhun holds a master's degree in internal combustion engines and turbomachinery from Government Engg College, Thrissur and a bachelor's degree from Sree Narayana College of Engg, Ernakulam, Kerala. His passion lies in heat transfer with particular focus on electronic cooling, two phase flows and convective heat transfer

Ambreena Abass

Research area: Vapor chambers

She completed her MTech from NIT Srinagar in 2024., where she worked on Phase Change Materials for thermal applications. Her current focus is on cooling high-power electronic devices by enhancing heat dissipation efficiency by integrating fins in vapor chamber design.

Sujatha S

Research area: Battery thermal management systems

She completed her BTech in Chemical Engineering from APEC Anna University and M.S in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras.

Sathyasree

Research area: Immersion cooling, battery thermal management, and multiphase heat transfer.

She is working on immersion cooling for lithium-ion battery thermal management. She completed her M.Tech from NIT Calicut, focusing on battery cooling using phase change materials. Her doctoral research integrates experiments, CFD, and data-driven approaches.

Jugal Shah

Research area: Cryogenic Frosting and Interfacial Heat and Mass Transfer

Jugal holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Astronomy and Space Engineering from IIT Indore, India. His research interests include cryogenic frosting, droplet evaporation dynamics, and interfacial heat and mass transfer relevant to spacecraft propulsion systems.

Ujjwal Kumar

Research area: Cryogenic nonlinear sloshing

Ujjwal has completed his M.Tech in Cryogenic and Vacuum Technology from NIT Rourkela. His research focuses on the heat and mass transfer mechanisms in cryogenic systems. He is currently investigating the behavior of capillary waves in a partially filled liquid nitrogen (LN₂) tank subjected to vertical vibrations.

Peruri Likith

Research area: Thermal Spacecraft Modeling

Peruri Likith holds both a B.Tech and an M.Tech from the IIT Madras and brings valuable industry experience from his tenure at MRF R&D. His current research centers on developing reduced-order models for thermal spacecraft, with a primary focus on leveraging machine learning techniques to solve complex thermal engineering problems.
